Sometimes when you have negative friends the best thing to do is to offer words of encouragement to that person to try to get them to do the right thing. Or another way to become a positive influence is to set an example. Do things that are positive with them to show them there are positive alternatives. However, you should not allow those friends to distract you and cause you to become a negative person because that is not how god wants you to be. You must remain positive so that you may help others that are not.
